I placed mine right below the goggle strap near the lower jaw peace just in line with the opening of the helmet.

I put my helmet on, look at a wall from about 4 feet away & turn the lasers on, they should cross right where your eye & nose are, centre of your goggles bridge for your nose.

Basically line it up with your goggles and then move it up 5 degrees because you natucally have your jaw down just a bit.

Gary,
Having the same issue with the correct positioning of the camera. After several repositionings, the adhesive is now useless.
