The Role
Our sales are booming ... and we need a hands-on type individual to support the total sales function as we grow. You will initially have a broad scope of duties ranging from phone follow-up, to entering orders, to packing and printing shipping labels; but ultimately you will help build a world-class inside sales organization. This position will grow into full-time Inside Sales and focus on establishing new retailers, supporting current retail partners, supporting our outside sales reps, and answering incoming phone calls (retailers and consumers). No lying ... this is a ground-floor opportunity with unlimited upside. You will work in a fast paced position that will teach you how to sell directly to retailers, how to support a national retail network, and better how to drive sales in your territory. Bring your people skills to the job because you'll be exposed to different age ranges, personality types, and management styles. If your work ethic is "no job is too big too small", then we definitely want to meet with you.

Location: Seattle, WA

Responsibilities:


  • Work with outside sales reps to support current and new retailers.
  • Answer incoming calls from retailers and consumers
  • Contact accounts to solicit sales orders.
  • Track and forecast account activity and resolve any open issues.
  • Develop a calling plan that will insure all accounts are serviced frequently.
  • Evaluate and suggest accounts for financial and market strength.
  • Review all reports for specified region to insure prompt delivery of goods.

Experience Required:

  • 2+ years success with sales support, inside sales and/or customer service
  • Command of Microsoft Office applications (word, excel, outlook, etc)
  • Experience with salesforce.com is a plus

VP of Engineering (digital media community):

The Role:
Twenty20, the maker of VholdR, is looking for a VP of Engineering to take V1 of the desktop and web platforms we have built and scale them on a world-wide level. The VP of Engineering will be responsible for everything software related from the minute the user plugs VholdR into their computer. Your core role is to ensure we deliver a true shoot to share experience for anyone capturing video and to ensure that we do it better than anyone else. You will build, inspire, direct, and scale the team while delivering a true "click to share" experience. But make no mistake, we are looking for a VP who can still write some code, verify quality of work, and knows how to scale a platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete the customer cycle from shooting (hardware) to sharing video (software)
  • Continue to build, inspire, and develop our in house software team
  • Be an integral part of raising future fundraising rounds
  • Scale VholdR.com while also continually enhancing site features

Your Skills:

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 8-10+ years of software development experience for consumer web applications
  • Built and inspired a software team with a minimum of 8 members
  • Strong understanding of quality user experience
  • Have scaled or been second in command for a web platform that has successfully scaled to a minimum of 500K unique visitors per month
  • Feel comfortable hiring and monitoring the development of a Windows and MAC desktop software solution

Sr. Software Engineer (desktop software):

The Role:
Twenty20 is looking for a Sr. Software Engineer who specializes in video desktop software. We know that "desktop software" is vague, but we need you to lead the efforts in creating V2 of VholdR Desktop for the Windows platform as well as to migrate the program to the Mac platform. VholdR Desktop, is the seamless connection between VholdR and VholdR.com, but it also allows users to organize, tag, and watch their videos. If you're talented enough, you will feel comfortable designing, building, testing, and launching V2 of VholdR Desktop that works on a PC and a Mac. It's quite a challenge, but if you have experience with video and desktop software please let us know.

Responsibilities:

  • Research, design, and develop VholdR Desktop to be compatible with Macs
  • Work with UX group to develop and launch V2
  • Work with VholdR to ensure the codecs are compatible with Windows and Mac editing programs
  • Be an intricate part of raising future fundraising rounds
  • Get results in building great software

Your Skills:

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 8-10+ years of desktop software development for PC and Mac
  • Managed and inspired a software team or contractors

The Role:
Twenty20 is looking for Sr. Developer to flex their muscle on VholdR.com and VholdR Desktop, with a focus on CSS, XHTML, and JavaScript. Not only will you deliver a simple user experience on the front end, but add value to the rich internet applications we are secretly developing. QA Engineer:

The Role:
Twenty20 is looking for a QA Engineer to work on both our desktop software and our web site. The desktop software is a Windows C++ application (with a Macintosh version coming soon) that allows our customers to view, organize and upload their videos. The web site is built in PHP and uses the Drupal open-source content management platform. The right person for the role will have experience testing desktop software (and software installers) on both XP and Vista (Macintosh testing experience is a plus), working with developers to write test plans, tracking quality metrics (open bugs, cases tested, etc.) and a good working knowledge of source control systems and release management. Basic experience with web site testing (e.g., black-box browser-based testing) is a requirement; experience writing automated regression tests and/or performance tests for web sites is a plus.

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of QA experience
  • QA experience in a both Desktop /Web application environment
  • QA Leadership experience highly desired
  • Extensive knowledge of Windows, UNIX environments
  • Experience testing shipping desktop applications widely used by the general public
  • Able to write and execute test plans

User Experience Engineer:

The Role:
We are looking for a UI Engineer to bring our desktop and web platforms to life. This isn't a minor task on a huge project for a huge company, but a role with the scope to shape the entire software product line of a new company. You will design the user experience for our desktop software and web site, test your designs to validate them, and produce mockups, documentation and any other assets necessary to help your teammates implement them. You will have a role in implementing them as well, so experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript (and preferably PHP) and/or the GUI aspects of the Windows API is required. If you have a passion for clean design that's so simple the user doesn't know it's there, a track record of implementing effective user interfaces, and a drive to work hard, then please let us know who you are. You know the routine. We'll give you the tools you need, the team, the direction, and we'll all work together to deliver a true "click to share" experience.

Your Skills

  • BS or MS in Interaction Design, Cognitive Science (human factors), and/or Design.
  • +5 years of UI experience, preferably with web and desktop software
  • Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Visio
  • Design and produce wire frames (proficiency in HTML and CSS a must)
  • Drupal and PHP experience is preferred
